All text completely gone on documents, 0-bytes! This is ABSOLUTELY INFURIATING! This allows you to recover the document if your PC malfunctions in the middle of your work. Next to AutoRecover file location:, click Browse to choose the folder where you want Word to save your AutoRecovered files. AutoRecover is a feature in Microsoft Word 2019 or Office 365 that automatically saves the document you’re working on at certain intervals. From the toolbar on the left, click Save, which will present you with options to customize how documents are saved. Locate the following folder: Application. In Word 2007, from the Office Button menu, select Word Options. Word for Mac has a built-in autosave feature called AutoRecover which is switched on by default. Recover the Word doc from the AutoRecovery folder.
